I’m going to take a shot in the dark and guess that you’d like to earn more money this year than you did last year.

In fact, you can earn more money with your current business by tightening up a few of your processes and tweaking a few of your systems.

1. Re-think your “free consults”. I’m not anti free consult, but I am anti free consults that have no strategy. It’s absolutely lovely to meet with people in a generous way, but you absolutely need to start at least mentioning your services at the end.
2. Follow up with one person who never “got back to you”. C’mon — I know you can think of one person who you talked to in the past about working together and then… nothing happened. Get in touch with this person, even if it’s just to say “hi”!
3. Brainstorm one recurring revenue stream. Not every client is going to be able to work with you over and over again, but you’ll never know if you don’t ask! Ask yourself: Once my clients are done working with me, what do they need next? How can I be of service?
4. Take a gander at your current products and services. Do you even know how many clients you need to book this year to hit your revenue goals?! This is VITAL to running a successful business. Once you know your numbers, you can start growing your network and your community to fill the spots!
