Step 1️⃣ – Block off one work day on your calendar. ⏱️
First things first, pick a day when you can focus only on writing your sales copy.
❌No meetings,
❌No other random tasks,
❌No checking your email.
You are all in on writing your sales page copy.
Step 2️⃣ – Gather supplies 📖
First and foremost, you need to download the Google Doc template that we’re going to use to create your sales page copy!
I’m even going to encourage you to just use that as this page that you send to people to buy your offer until you make enough sales to then maybe invest in getting your sales page designed.
This way, by the end of the one day of writing your copy, you could actually start making sales.
Step3️⃣ – The Schedule 📅
I’m going to assume that you’ve got six hours to work on your copy uninterrupted, and we’re going to split that into the first three hours, the second two hours, and the final hour.
Hours 1-3:
During the three hours, you gather every single piece of language and information that you have about your offers.
Hours 2-5:
During this two hour block you’re going to create an outline of your sales page following the 14 part sales page framework that I talk about in this video.
Hour 6:
At this point in the last hour of the day you technically already have a Shitty First Draft of your sales page. Woo hoo!
You’re going to feel some kind of way about it, and that’s good. This is the feeling you’re supposed to feel when you work on a big writing project.
And there you have it – the tips to writing sales copy in just one day. Remember, it’s all about taking that first step and staying committed.
