Why $100K needs to be the bare minimum for every service provider

If you’re not building the foundation of a six-figure business in 2026, you’re better off getting a job.

  • You start undercharging to feel “accessible”

  • You start over-delivering to justify the price

  • You end up exhausted, frustrated, and broke

  • You wonder why you’re stuck—even though you’re “doing all the things”

Spoiler alert: you built the wrong container.

Make $100K the floor, not the ceiling

A real-life example that happened yesterday.

I had a conversation with a former client (sharing this with her privacy in mind) who recently pivoted into a mission-driven business model. The work she’s doing is important. Like, “could change lives and communities” important.

But when she realized she wanted to start charging for it, here’s what she said:

“I want to make an impact, but to make 100K sustainably feels like the price won’t be accessible to people. But if I undercharge… that’s exactly how I place myself into a stressed out mode.”

👀 THIS IS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM.

She had already created a business that couldn’t support her.
But thankfully, she caught it before it was too late.

After watching my 100K training, she realized:
“What if I worked with professionals who impact these people instead of directly with individuals?”

Boom.
Now she has a model that amplifies her impact AND supports her financially.

That’s the power of building with 100K as the floor.

Here’s what you’re really doing when you undercharge for your services:

You’re saying, “I don’t believe I’m allowed to build a sustainable business.”

You’re also saying:

  • “I don’t trust people will pay me.”

  • “I feel guilty charging what it’s actually worth.”

  • “I’ll just hustle and hope it works out.”

And that guilt? That fear? That resistance to doing the math?

That is what’s keeping you broke.

If you’re avoiding the numbers because they feel scary or “not your thing,” please hear this:
The math is what sets you free.

$100K is not luxury. It’s dignity.
It’s breathing room. Options. Ownership of your life.

If you’re making less than $100K in your business, that means your business is making less. You’re likely paying yourself far less than that.

So let’s stop pretending that $100K is “extra.”
It’s the bare minimum for a sustainable, freedom-based business.
