Welcome back to the Yay for Business Podcast. In the last episode, I spoke about the 3 Stages of Business and gave you an overview of each stage. In today’s episode and the two episodes after this one, I will dive deeper into each stage, starting with the Scrappy Freelancer.

The first stage, where most of us start, is: The Scrappy Freelancer. This stage is defined by the Feast and Famine Cycle. In this stage, you’re constantly “hunting” to get clients, and you create a custom proposal for each client.

But I also want to celebrate this stage with you, because this is the first stage of being a business owner. So congratulations on striking out on your own. You actually took the initiative to make money!
