I’ve even heard one woman refer to it as “a necessary evil”. She said she was joking, but we all know that jokes are always rooted in reality. (I’d never make a joke like that because I love sales!)
Personally, I feel it’s my mission to help women like you to reprogram your associations with sales. Because frankly, your business is suffering because of your resistance to this 5-letter word.

The Cloud = Where your “muse” or “target client” is right now. The cloud represents what they’re frustrated with.
The Gold = Where your “muse” or “target client” wants to be. The pot of gold represents this person’s desires. What do they wish was true for them?
The Rainbow = Your products + services! The rainbow is the bridge between where your muse is right now and where they want to be.
Here are 3 ways you can use The Rainbow of Sales right now:
On your sales calls –Listen to your potential clients’ frustrations. What isn’t working for them? What do they want to change? Repeat this language back to them to show them that you truly understand how they feel.
On your sales pages –Paint a picture of your rainbow! (Not literally, unless you want to!). When your target client reads your sales page, they should be able to picture in their mind’s eye what it will look like to experience your offer. Are you giving them enough details? Are you using your words + graphics to illustrate the experience to them?
3. In your blog posts –For every blog post you write, ask yourself, “What is one specific frustration my muse has right now that I can solve with this blog post?” In essence, each blog post you write should be its own “mini rainbow of sales”.
