Many of us are considered people pleasers, which isn’t always a bad thing. However, I’m passionate about reframing this concept. This is people pleasing like you’ve never understood it before.
We start by diving deep into the two core myths that surround people pleasing and what they have to do with making other people happy. As you’re listening, you may start to identify as a people pleaser or notice some people pleasing tendencies in yourself. Here’s a secret: You’re not alone!
I’m also going to be looking at the connection between people pleasing and being a good person. Just because you’re done with people pleasing doesn’t mean you’re not a good person! The purpose of today’s episode is to simply take that connection and change the way we look at it.
